Troop 12 meets every week during the school calendar year, barring holidays or inclement weather (New England’s gotta’ New England in the Winter after all). Meetings currently run from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM and include learning and instructional opportunities, games, and more.
Meetings are held in the church hall behind the historic St. Joseph’s Church at 1303 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI 02864.
Troop Meetings are completely Scout-led, which helps to foster and teach organizational leadership skills, personal and group responsibility, and cooperation and collaboration. It also provides the Scouts with a tangible sense of ownership of their Scouting experience.
